Include a share account at Sugar Land Employees Federal Credit Union when setting your goals for financial security. As a basic saving account, these accounts are perfect for saving up for a vacation, investment or just a rainy day. Rates are subject to change with dividends posted quarterly. ATM cards are available with these accounts for easy access to your funds. These accounts are subject to minimal monthly transactions as outline in Reg D below.
Our draft accounts are designed to meet the needs of all our members. These accounts require no minimum balance, have no monthly fees tied to them, plus the funds kept in a draft account earn the same dividend rate as our share accounts.
A variety of check styles are offered on share draft accounts. Members can also re-order checks straight off our website by clicking here. Our ABA Routing Number 313189171 is needed when re-ordering checks. Debit cards and overdraft protection are also offered in conjunction with our share draft accounts.
ATM/Debit Cards provide our members with easy access to their funds - after hours, on holidays, or on those days when there are thousands of errands to run and another stop just isn't practical. ATM cards are available to members with share accounts only. Our Debit cards carry the VISA logo and can be used to make purchases at Point of Sale. A share draft account is a necessary requirement for one of our Debit cards. We also offer Overdraft Protection on both cards.
Share Certificates are available for funds that won't be required for a given period of time. A higher rate of dividend is paid on these certificates than for our regular share accounts. Sugar Land Employees Federal Credit Union offers both six (6) month and twelve (12) month share certificates with a minimum balance required for both of $1,000. Penalties are incurred for early withdrawl.
Johnny Appleseed Accounts are special savings accounts for children 12 years of age and under. We all know how hard it is to get children to save their money, however with this account each child receives an incentive (a small toy surprise) once a month when they personally come to the Credit Union and make a deposit into their account. They can watch their savings grow and earn the same great dividends as our regular share accounts.
Our signature loans have our membership covered if and when those sudden unexpected expenses arise. Our members have an advantage by utilizing the competitive rates and affordable terms of our signature loans over the high interest rate credit cards found on the market today.

Saving money can be difficult to do. Sugar Land Employees Federal Credit Union makes it easier for all members to save with ACH Direct Deposit. Simply give your payroll department our ABA Routing Number 313189171 along with your member number and have a portion of or all of your payroll deposited straight into your account. Your ACH Direct Deposit can be deposited into any of your accounts (both share and draft accounts) and can even be applied toward loan payments making late payments and fees a thing of the past.

Sugar Land Employees Federal Credit Union offers our members a simple solution: Money Orders from Travelers Express, the largest money order company in the world with over 50 years experience. Our Travelers Express Money Orders are available in amounts up to $1,000.
A little known service that Sugar Land Employees Federal Credit Union offers our members is "free of charge" notary service. A notary is always on hand during our regular business hours of Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Our night deposit box is located in our drive-thru window lane and allows our members to deposit funds or make loan payments around the clock. Transactions placed in the night deposit box are posted the next business day.
Reg D
As stated above, our share accounts are subject to Reg D from the Federal Reserve. This regulation limits the number of certain transfers to six monthly out of share accounts. The most common transfers included in Reg D that pertain to our members and their accounts are:
